For the first time in MONTHS Mommy's brain worked tonight!! She figured out that she could do 1 bath for 2 girls in about half the time!
The only consequence would be the broken back from bending over the tub, but the girls are outgrowing the kitchen sink so it was only a matter of time....

What a LONG week!! I will spare you all the details of a mild case of thrush, a blocked milk duct, a flat head and an *almost* panic attack when someone refused to eat for almost 9 hours!
The good news is everything is slowly returning to normal and Maia's reflux medication was changed on Sunday. She is now taking Prilosec so hopefully we will see an improvement by the end of the week!

Yesterday we went to Nana's house to do massive amounts of laundry after the continuous puking and poo-splosions! 2Nana, Great Great Aunt Charlotte, Great Auntie Kelly, Brittany and Amanda came by to see us.... so we got all dressed up!!

Happy 1/4 Birthday!!

Today the girls are 3 months old!!
In celebration, we went on our first errand run ALONE... and survived!! We got coffee (drivethru, lol), then we went to Walmart to buy some new bottles for 'our experiment', and then to Riteaid to pickup Rx.
Mommy was pretty confident she COULD do it, it was more a matter of whether or not the girls would cooperate...

Maia fell asleep on the way home and took a 3 HOUR nap! Mommy was very proud of her 30 minute napper! So if the theory 'sleep begets sleep' is true, she should sleep good tonight!

Speaking of good sleep.... Sofia slept from 7:30 - 4:30 last night! That must have been because she was exhausted from ROLLING OVER for the first time!!
It was purely accidental, she was mad that her sister was eating first so she was yelling and arching her back and then FLIP right onto her belly! And then she was furious! She HATES being on her belly!

Meanwhile Maia has been TRYING to roll over. She puts her legs up in the air and uses them as weights to get her onto her side, she just needs to figure out what to do with her arm and she'll flip. Shouldn't be long!

Almost 3 months!

Today we got our weights checked at the doctors to find out about increasing our dosage of Zantac, since we have been pukey again. We had gone about 3 weeks with almost none but this past week it has been somewhat frequent.

Sofia 11 lbs 10 oz
Maia 9 lbs 12.5 oz

We have gained 1.5 and 1 lbs but not enough to warrant an increase in our Zantac. So we are going to try a few other things and if there is no change then we might try some new medicine.


Sunday morning we were having our 'breakfast and morning chat' in the big bed when Mommy realized that Maia was not paying any attention to her!! She was talking and cooing at Sofie who was on the Mommy's lap, smiling and cooing back at Maia!! They are finally interacting with each other!!
Later that day at Nana & Grampa's house they were caught holding hands while playing on the ground!!

Since we have good some good head control (not due to tummy time haha), Mommy decided to enlist Auntie J's help in setting up the Exersaucer! It is a little big for us but we did enjoy it!

Maia couldn't decide between playing with her tongue or the new toy...





And Sofia decided it was good enough to eat!

2 out of 3... Aunties, that is!

Today we got to hang out with two of our Aunties!
This was the last time we would see Auntie Jill for a little while since she is heading back to school.
And this also serves as proof that Auntie J is here, its not just Mommy's imagination!!

New sleep habits for the new year

Sofia has been getting better and better... at sleeping!
For about a week she had been waking only once at about 2-2:30am for a feeding and going right back to sleep till the morning.

In celebration of the New Year (Wednesday night) she slept through the night 7:15pm - 5:45am!!

Thursday her naps were all over the place, she felt now that she had slept through she didn't need to nap (haha). That night she woke more times than usual. But Friday night she was back to waking only once at 2:30am. We'll see what happens tonight....
