We saw the pedi again on Feb 11th for Maia's reflux and she changed her prescription to Prevacid and about a week later we noticed a difference. We also scheduled an Upper GI for Tues Feb 26th at Childrens' Hospital to see how bad her reflux is and rule out anything else.
The pedi also gave the ok to start Sofia on cereal as well and said to try oatmeal as it is less binding than rice, so we started the oatmeal on Valentines Day and they love it!
On Thurs Feb 21st, we had our 4mo pedi appt. She was happy that Sofia's flathead was improving, said to keep doing what I was doing to continue strengthening those neck muscles and she did not think a helmet was necessary.
She was very impressed with their weight gain:
Sofia: 13 lbs 4.5 oz, 24.25" long (50th percentile for both)
Maia: 11 lbs 3 oz, 24.5" long (25th for weight and 50th for length)
The girls had their 4mo shots and were told we can start trying fruits and vegetables. We started prunes to help keep things 'regular' and they like them.

Sofia can now also roll from her belly to her back, any object she picks up she puts into her mouth or she licks, and she manages to get her thumb into her mouth atleast 15-20x per feeding, but cannot find it to go to sleep. She smiles and talks endlessly and 'coughs' to get attention. She also has a fondness for guys and loves to cuddle.
Maia started laughing about a week ago, it is the cutest giggle, she thinks sneezing is hilarious, and laughter is contagious. She also has been smacking her lips to show how much she is enjoying her food. She grabs for everything and even 'pets' the kitties. She has quite the temper and gets frustrated if she cannot do something. Her hair is really starting to come in now and its darker than when she was born.
Maia has been falling asleep on her own whereas Sofia still needs quite a bit of help falling asleep. Once asleep Sofia will usually take long naps, she really loves her sleep. Maia, on the other hand, is a 30min napper, occassionally she will surprise us and take a 2hr nap but its a rarity.
They love taking a bath together, looking in the mirror, and music.

Hi, I read your blog after seeing the link on Nicole's page. First of all, congrats on the beautiful girls. Your Maia looks a little like my Indira. I see that you are a single mom doing it all. Good job!
